Introducing MINIBUS:

MINIBUS is a Mac and Windows plugin that uses NDI®’s network audio protocol to transmit audio between devices on the same network. It allows you to send audio from any host application that supports third-party VST3, AU, or AAX plugins.

The MINIBUS installer includes three plugins and is designed to let you stream audio from your DAW to any NDI-enabled device or application, including OMNIBUS.

– MINIBUS Lite: a free MINIBUS transmitter plugin allowing you to transmit mono or stereo audio channels via NDI protocol.

– MINIBUS Transmitter: a multichannel MINIBUS transmitter plugin allowing you to transmit up to 16 channels of audio via NDI protocol.

– MINIBUS Receiver: a multichannel receiver plugin for any NDI audio source.

– New Plugin type: Introducing INJECT Instrument (VST3, AU, AAX), allowing INJECT to be used on Instrument tracks in place of a software instrument. Doing so provides the full functionality of the regular plugin, with additional support for MIDI Clock synchronization for external devices.

– Introduced wave meters that display intensity of an input audio signal.
– Users can now rearrange the input signal flow in the plugin by dragging and dropping.
– Introduced ability to solo an input channel before reordering (for convenience).
– Introduced a “reset by default” button for the plugin, that resets plugin back to standard I/O flow. Based on the channel order of the DAW.
– When the plugin is used in Pro Tools, there are different types of “reset to default” button options for input channel routing, based on preferred  I/O setup.
